Obituary of Michael Feeney

On Wednesday, December 3rd, Michael Feeney passed away at Maimonides Medical Center, Brooklyn. Mike was born in Leitrim, Ireland on October 1, 1936. He came to the United States in 1956, where he later became a citizen. He was a hard working family man who devoted most of his career to Brooklyn Union Gas Company. He settled in Brooklyn to raise a family with his beloved wife, Kathleen Galligan. Mike is survived by his daughter, Kathleen Fioretti, and his son, Andrew Feeney. He was blessed to have four grand-children whom he loved dearly, Thomas, Kayleigh, Michael, and Daniel. Mike had an avid affection for nature and long walks in Marine Park with his friends. Mike was also a huge soccer and hockey sports fan. The funeral will be held, Sunday, December 7th, at Marine Park Funeral Home 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 with a mass at St. Edmund's Church, Monday, December 8th at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale.
