I worked with Ray at two, and perhaps three, different jobs on Wall Street at Lanyi Research (Ladenburg, Thalmann) and when he hired me at GKN later on, and he was the brightest person I ever worked with over my 40+ year Wall Street career. Ray had a great personality, loved the Atlantic City casinos (where I thought he was bright enough to count cards playing BlackJack) and was always fun to be with. l remember being with him at the brownstone in Brooklyn years ago and recall how he cared deeply for all of his children and grandchildren. I also remember how devastated Ray was when his young grandson passed away. I was very sad to come across this notice, and regret not having been in closer touch with him after he moved to NJ. He will always be in my thoughts and I feel very honored to have worked closely with such a bright and kind person.
