Always with a smile and an outstretched hand when our paths crossed, and although a quiet fellow in his way, Bob never failed to stop whatever task was at hand outside of the home to share and exchange thoughts on sports, politics, the travails of life, or whatever the "hot button topic of the day" might have been (and, yes, that included comparing who had it harder in marching to the orders our wives doled out - which he always said with love, Nancy). As a neighbor, he was someone who one would go out of the way to make sure to say hello, rather than try to walk quickly passed. I know that I am not alone when I say he will be missed. A small measure of comfort is taken in the realization that his pains and discomforts are no more and that his path is with, and along side, god.
Rest in Peace, Bob.
