I met Patsy through her brother Angus who was a friend of my elder sister Terry. We became best friends. Patsy lived in Kitty while I lived in Charlestown, Guyana. As teenagers, Patsy and I hung out together three/four times a week. On Saturdays we rode to the seawalls which many of you may know is a very favorite place to meet others. We went to the movies and high school parties. She was a constant in my life. I missed her very much when she immigrated to the USA. I also lost touch with her. It is with pain in my heart and tears in my eyes that I write this because I recently (2023) found out of Patsy passing. Hello to Vernon. I wish I got to know Patsy’s kids. Patsy, may you rest in peace in God’s loving arms. Love you forever. Our memories will live on.

I had the honor of getting to know Patricia several years ago when we worked together at Jack's in Gibsonville. She became part of our entire family she loved to play cards at night with my entire family she was one of us not an outsider looking in. As Jackie said in her tribute she would give you the shirt off her back, for example she played secret santa last year to my niece that needed a winter coat which she did not want me to tell my niece that it came from her so I didn't, with that being said she knows now that Patricia was one of her secret santa and everytime I see her put that coat on I will forever think of her. I also was graced with her coming and going to New York to see her daughter and granddaughter Samantha she always showed me updated pictures she was very proud of her family.
There were alot of great memories made up until the date she passed. I look forward to going to Dollar General imagine that it was only to know that she would treat you with respect and get you out of there as quick as possible. Patricia I have no clue as to why you left the earth so early but I am sure God has a better plan for you than here. Our family will truly miss you and we will keep your family in our prayers as this will be truly hard for them this week.

Sleep on my dear sister you are now in the everlasting arms of our lord. We couldn't see each other often, but you were always in corner of my heart, and I will forever miss you, we don't have tomorrow but we had yesterday, for memories are forever. But we will laugh again some day.

I met Patricia at the wineries out east with Jane and from the moment I met her, I felt as if I had known her my whole life. She was so pleasant and sweet to me and I thoroughly enjoyed talking with her. I am glad I had the opportunity to meet her. I'm sure she will be missed.

Knowing Patricia for the past 5 years we have communicated built a solid relationship, this totally brew the wind out of me so much was the planning into the future life cut short for reasons we will never know.

Patricia was a dear sweet friend and past co worker. She would give you the shirt off of her back. She loved her family and especially her little "Sammie". She was so proud of her children and talked about them all the time, so much so that I have never met them in person but I feel as though I have known them as long as I have her. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. I will continue to keep the family in my thoughts and prayers for I know this will be a very hard week ahead.
