Obituary of Thomas F. Connelly

Thomas F. Connelly, Sr., 81, of Rockaway entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 13, 2017.Valiantly served our country with the US Army from 1956 – 1962. Mr. Connelly was born February 16, 1936 in Brooklyn, NY. He is the son of the late Patrick and the late Sarah (Keane) Connelly. Thomas will be welcomed into heaven by his wife, the late Peggy Connelly. Survived by his children Patrick Connelly (Donna), Margaret Curcio (George), Mary Foote (John), Eileen Falletta (Josef), Catherine Rodriguez (Raymond), Maureen Caruso (Joseph), Colleen Mackay (Christopher), Thomas Connelly Jr., Barbara Braskey (Joseph) and the late Delia Marie. Cherished brother of the late Marie Collins. Loving grandfather of 18. Friends and Family will be accepted to pay their respects to Mr. Connelly on Thursday, March 16 from 2 – 9 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Friday, March 17 at Good Shepherd R.C. Church. Interment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery.
