To all of Aunt Mildred's family, just to let you know we are thinking about you and praying that the Blessed Mother will help you through this period of loss.
We will remember her for her kindness and gentleness, which is reflected in all of her children.
We will always cherish the Volpe Family Quilt that she made and we won many years ago at one of the Volpe Family Reunions.
God Love and Keep you all.

I remember Mrs. Volpe the day I met her in 1974. Had come down to Brooklyn from Boston to meet up with Eddie who was stationed in Chicago and Key West with me. We went out immediately--it was Friday night--and when we got home Mrs. Volpe had left us a spread of Italian bites the likes of which I'd never seen. It was great and so was she. Saw her a few times after that, most notably at Eddie's 60th birthday bash in Bay Ridge. She looked beautiful that night.
