For 45 years, Mrs. V opened her heart and home to me as one of Patree's closest friends. From Christmas dinners at Bergen Beach to rented cottages in the summer at Breezy, she is embedded in my memory forever. She accepted me unconditionally, and I loved her as much as I could ever love another mom.
I pray that she is having a good time in heaven, meeting up with all her old friends and family who went before and greeted her at the door. She was a lot of fun, with a huge heart, and the cheerfulness of a saint. Love you, Mrs. V - rest in peace.
