It took me awhile to look here... I wanted to say that I am sorry I was not there at the funeral...in fact, the news came to me as I was leaving for California.
Chris and I met at a nail shop in Chelsea in 2008... when I moved out here to NYC, he was one of my first friends. We went to the Hamptons, to Herseypark, to various dinners, dancing, car shopping, just hanging out. He was so good to me. Our last dinner was at Blue Water Grill and we vowed to have dinner at least once a month.
I really miss Chris but I know he is still around; I saw hello to him from time to time.
I send my love and support to the family, and I will never forget Chris <3

I've known Chris for several years. We were hang out buddies throughout our years hanging in the clubs, enjoying our favorite DJ, Junior Vasquez.

I was so sorry to learn of the loss of Chris. I only knew him for a short time and we met through my job. He was so vibrant and full of energy and positivity and I gravitated to that immediately. I looked forward to our phone conversations and text messages he always knew how to cheer me up and make me laugh. He was so thoughtful and kind and even surprised me at work on my birthday with flowers! As fate would have it we only got to hang out one time (we referred to it as out first date) We fell out of touch after that. He had a lot going on and hoped we could reconnect so I could understand more about what he was going through but it wasn't meant to be. All I know is Chris was a free spirit and a genuine soul. So loving and giving and I truly hope he is at peace now. I know how much he loved his mom and how she really was his world. She sounded like such a warm and wonderful person. I am so truly sorry for the Brienza's family and friends during this incredibly difficult time.

Dear Victor:
I was a close friend of your brother Christopher for many years since about 1999.
He disconnected from me and our friendship in 2013... But i always thought of him often and prayed for his well being. I was sorry to hear of his passing... It hurt and devastated me very deeply. I was also sorry to hear that your Mother was ill and that she had passed also. Please accept my condolences, and know that your brother was a very special man.. he was loving and kind, generous and warm, funny and wonderful.. I will think of our times together fondly forever. He was there for me during a tough period of my life.. I will never forget that and i will always be grateful to him and his spirit for his love and support.
