Obituary of Jean Avanzato

Jean Avanzato, 78, of Kissimmee, FL entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 4, 2017. She was born on May 24, 1938 to Gaetano and Maria (Cordaro) Bonafede in Sicily, Italy. Jean spent her working years as a secretary in the banking industry. Jean is survived by her loving family; husband, Giuseppe Avanzato of Kissimmee, FL, son, Joseph D. Avanzato, daughter, Maria C. Avanzato both of Brooklyn, NY; sister, Rosemarie Ambrogio of Kissimmee, FL; brother, Pino Bonafede of St. Petersburg, FL and grandson, Justin O'Hara of Brooklyn, NY. She was preceded in death by her parents; Maria and Gaetano Bonafede.

Reposing Tuesday, May 9 from 2-5 and 7-9 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 9:30 AM at Mary Queen of Heaven R.C. Church, 1395 East 56th Street, Brooklyn, NY. Entombment to follow at St. Michaels Cemetery, East Elmhurst, NY.
