Obituary of Jean A. Sampson

Jean A. Sampson, age 87, of Brooklyn passed away Thursday, May 25, 2017 at home.  Mrs. Sampson was born June 17, 1929 in Guyana. She was the daughter of the  late Samuel & Rosalind Ross.  She was welcomed into Heaven by her loving husband Joseph Sampson. 

She was the beloved mother of Ann Sampson, Gloria Farley with her husband Raymond, Winston Sampson, Mayleen Sampson-Hughes with her husband Floyd, and Corletta Aririguzo with her husband Dr. Jude Aririguzo, and cherished grandmother of Dr. Topaz, Ronel, Rayann, Randy, Winston Jr., William, Sojourner, Safre, Solomon, Natasha, Chidera, and Tristan.  She will be greatly missed by her sister Frances Smith.

A visitation will be held at St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church, 331 Hawthorne Street, Brooklyn, NY 1225 on Sunday, June 4, 2017 from 4:00 to 6:30 PM with a Tribute from 6:30 to 7:00 PM.

A Funeral Service will be at 7:00 PM on Sunday, June 4, 2017.
