Obituary of Charles J. Messina
Charles J. Messina, age 66, of Brooklyn passes away on Thursday, June 8, 2017. Mr. Messina was born January 19, 1951 in Brooklyn, NY. He is the son of the late Peter and Margaret Messina.
He worked as a Treasury Agent for the Internal Revenue Service.
Mr. Messina is survived by his mother, Margaret Messina (nee Bilello).
He is the beloved husband of Joan Brady. He is the loving father of Bridget DeSena with her husband Anthony. He is the adored grandfather of Carmine, Amelia, and Donovan.
Mr. Messina is the cherished brother of Gia Zimmerman with her husband Ron and Rose Guisti with her husband Anthony. He is the dear brother-in-law of Rose Ann Brady-Cohen with her husband Steve, Elizabeth Goodknight with her husband Brian, Lawrence Brady with his wife Mary Pat, Patricia Salyer and her late husband Mark, and Thomas Brady with his wife Mary.
He will be greatly missed by his many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be Sunday, June 11 from 4:00 - 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:15 am on Monday, June 12 at St. Bernard R.C. Church, 2055 East 69th Street, Brooklyn, NY. There will be a private cremation.
