To the Durkin family,
I'm so sorry for the loss of Pat. I stayed at your home from home when I first landed in America as a student in 1978. Pat's brother, John, was a great friend of my father's and put me in touch. Pat, Kitty and family could not have been kinder. And Pat found a job in the Carlyle Hotel for my buddy, Ray.

I don't know if you recall who I am, but I babysat for you in the early 1970s when you lived on the corner of Church Av. (In fact all of my sister babysat for you.)
