Obituary of Santa Cipriani

Santa Cipriani, age 84, entered into eternal rest Friday, July 21, 2017 at home with her family by her side. Mrs. Cipriani was born September 8, 1932 in Brooklyn, NY. She is the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Rose (Monaco) Grilli.

Mrs. Cipriani was the center of her family and lived each day surrounded by those she loved most.  She was a kind, warm, loving mother, nana, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and friend.  She was selfless and never wanted or ask for anything.  Others always came first.   Mrs. Cipriani's happiest times were spent around the kitchen table talking and laughing with family.  She made everyone feel welcomed and will forever be remembered being beautiful inside and out.   

Mrs. Cipriani had a fulfilled life as the beloved wife of 63 years to Philip J. Cipriani. She had the best job of all raising their two daughters Mary Ann Zaza with her husband Nicholas and Donna O'Brien with her husband Thomas. She is the cherished Nana of Nicholas and James. Mrs. Cipriani will be missed by her sister-in-law Camille as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws.

Mrs. Cipriani is welcomed into Heaven by her late brother Vito Grilli.

Visiting hours will be Monday, July 24 from 2 to 5:00 and 7 to 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 25 at St. Mark's R.C. Church, 2609 East 19th Street, Brooklyn, NY.

Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale following the service.
