Was just thinking of Willie and how he was doing. I see he passed 4 years ago. My husband Floyd Prusinski worked with him in the Teamsters and I met him on a business trip. So sorry to hear of Willie's passing. My father Jack McGuire grew up with Willie and I heard many stories of the exploits of Willie my dad and their circle friends. Willie also took me golfing for the first time when I was fourteen years old and I still play today fifty years later. My dad passed on 2/12/18 in Bullhead City AZ.

Dear Whelan Family,
You have to know what a larger than life man your dad was. No one could tell a story like him. No one had his charisma and charm to engage everyone in the room. He was a friend to all of us and so well regarded and respected. Bill and June; a core part of our childhood. Both of your parents live in our hearts. And for all of you I pray for peace and comfort. I was truly sorry to hear about the passing of Bill Whelan. As soon as I heard it truly brought back so many dear memories that reminded me of the good old days with families having great times together. I know my mom is now having a big party with him June and Marylou. He was a very funny kind generous man and he will be missed!!
