Obituary of Mary P. Goode
Mary P. Goode of Breezy Point, NY, died March 11, 2018 at South Nassau Community Hospital. She was 79. The daughter of the late John & Ellen Ryan, she was born January 9, 1939 in Manhattan, NY.
Mary lived a life of service through her dedication as a Registered Nurse, wife, mother and grandmother.
Devoted wife of the late Patrick J. Goode. Beloved mother of Jacqueline M. Goode her husband Brian Daughney of Garden City, Patricia A. Goode her husband Oliver Savage of Breezy Point and Sean with his wife Kathleen Goode of Fairfield CT. Dear grandmother of Eamon, Sean, Tegan and Brendan. Sister of the late Sean Desmond Ryan. Mary was an aunt who will be missed here and in Ireland to her many nieces and nephews among the Ryan & Goode families.
Reposing Thursday March 15th from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10:00 PM MARINE PARK FUNERAL HOME 3024 Quentin Road, BKLYN NY 11234. Funeral Mass Friday 11:00AM St. Thomas More R.C. Church, Breezy Point. Burial will take place with her husband in St. Brigid’s Cemetery, Drum, Co. Roscommon Ireland.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. In addition, Masses may be offered in Mary's name for the repose of her soul.
