Obituary of Primitivo Pineiro

Primitivo Pineiro died  March 19, 2018 in Fort Worth, Texas.  He was 89. Don Tivo was born December 27, 1928 in Utuado, Puerto Rico.  

He proudly served with the US Army in the Korean War.  His superiors took advantage of his youthful thin stature.  Assigned as a Lineman, he was building the essential communications lines needed for the War effort.  He was a devoted member of Local 32-B working in the Garment District in NYC.  Don Tivo's Family will remember him for his talent for playing the Güiro and honor him in death for being the dedicated family man that he was.  Don Tivo was a devoted huband and a hard working man who loved his dear wife and wished nothing more than to see his sons become the professional men he raised them to be.  

Primitivo Pineiro was the beloved husband of the late Pauline and devoted father of Michael (Cindy), Robert (Dora), Peter (Iris) and David (Annette).  He was also the cherished grandfather of 11 & great grandfather of 3.  

Reposing Sunday March 25th from 3 to 7:00 PM.  Funeral Monday 9:00 AM from The Marine Park Funeral Home.  The Procession will leave promptly at 10:00 AM.  Burial with his beloved Pauline will be at St. Raymond's Cemetery, Bronx NY.  For those meeting at the Cemetery, please wait at the Main Office and we will follow in procession as one for Don Tivo's Committal.
