Obituary of Josephine M. Marchesano

Josephine M. Marchesano, age 87, of Brooklyn passed away on Friday, March 30, 2018. Mrs. Marchesano was born February 27, 1931 in Brooklyn, NY. She is the daughter of the late Dominic and the late Katherine (Ezzo) Valenza.  Beloved wife of the late Tony Lavigna. Loving mother of Catherine R. Febbraio (Robert Cortez), Anne Elfant, Carol M. Marchesano and the late Cono Marchesano. Loving grandma of Robert Marchesano (Anne), Nicole Carver (Charlie), Bryan Elfant (Michelle), Alissa Elfant and Matthew Amato. Cherished great grandmother of Celeste Carver. Dear sister of the late Madeline Girlando.

Reposing Tuesday, April 3 from 2 to 5 and 7to 9 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 AM  on Wednesday, April 4 at St. Thomas Aquinas R.C. Church, 1550 Hendrickson Street, Brooklyn. Burial to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Kew Gardens, Queens.

Girl Scouting was my choice of roads to follow in my quest
