Obituary of Carmela Palmieri

Carmela Palmieri, age 78 passed away Saturday, April 21, 2018 in New York, NY.  Ms. Palmieri was born January 18, 1940 in Italy.  Daughter of the late Nicola and Angela Teresa (Ritorto) Palmeri.

She was the devoted wife of the late Vincenzo Palmieri and started a loving family with having four children, Maria Palmieri, Theresa Medici, Rocco Palmieri and Denise Romano.  Loving grandmother of Steven Silvestro, Melissa Medici, Michael Silvestro, James Medici, Jenna Silvestro, Brianna Romano, Olivia Palmieri and the late Isabella Romano.  Dear sister of the late Vincenzo Palmeri.

Being a graduate from the Fashion Institute of Technology she was most proud of being a pattern maker in the fashion industry for the well known Ralph Lauren. 

Reposing Wednesday April 25, 2018 from 2 to 5 & 7 to 9:00 PM at the Marine Park Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday 9:45 AM at Good Shepherd R.C. Church.  Committal will follow immediatley at St. Charles Cemetery.
