Dear Rose,
I just came across your obituary and I am so so saddened to hear of your passing. I would have liked to properly say good-bye to you. I will miss you and our many talks that we had together. You kept me up to date on Billy and Ann and all your children and grandchildren. I enjoyed hearing your stories. Now I will never get to hear about how Billy is doing and relay back to my brother, Jeff. You are in a better place, for that I am sure.
Rest in peace, my dear Friend, you were one of the finest women I knew.
Love,
Claire

Dear Billy, Ann and family; Eddie and family, John and family; and Patricia and family:
Sylvia, Randy, Deb and I are very sorry for your loss. We certainly have fond memories of your Mom (and your entire family) from the 46 years our families were both next-door neighbors and friends.
There were the vacations our families took together (Lancaster, PA) as well as what seemed like continuous front porch gatherings (roast pork on garlic bread from Herbie's International was always a favorite when hungry).
Rose was truly one of the nicest and most caring people on the face of the Earth.
I know that when we think of her a smile will come with the memory.
Our thoughts are with you.
Sylvia, Marc & Debbi Goldfischer and Randy & John McDermott

I give thanks for the privilege of having had Aunt Rose in my life for 65 years. She, and Uncle Bill filled many voids in my life as a child, seeming to understand what I needed, and providing those things to me. Aunt Rose was an exceptional introspective woman; wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many. She never ceased to amaze me with her inquisitiveness, and with her natural ability as a teacher. She learned quickly, and that knowledge always benefited others in the way of scarfs, quilts, ornaments, and too many other handmade trinkets to keep count. She sought to lift us with her listening and counsel, but could also be lovingly stern, if she did not agree. She sought understanding, gave forgiveness, and always, always made you understand you were loved.
As Rose enters into eternal rest with her God, we bid her farewell, comforted in the knowledge that we will one day again be united. Rest well my beloved, sweet Aunt Rose. Love you, Love you, Love you!

Dear Bill, I'm so sorry for your loss. One thing i have learned over the years is to see the outcome of children of a family. It has taught me how loving and gracious and caring their parents are , without this in life, the whole world would be different. Again from my family to yours, sorry for your loss.
