Sometimes in life, there are losses.

Losing you has been the hardest thing I’ve ever had to live with.

I love you, Dad! I miss you more each passing day. The glimpse of your face doesn't leave my eyes or mind that everyday waking by your room... I wish to see your face light up and hear your voice say "missy or baby girl". Why is time so limited that it ceases our heart to love or celebrate life without someone so special as you. Family is everything, love is our life and memories that always stays with us till death do us apart.

1 Year Anniversary
The hours, days, and months have passed and the memories of you are forever engraved in my heart. In my heart, you hold a place no one else could even fill. A father’s presence, love, support, care, laughter/teasing and smile is immeasurable in a daughter’s life. I will always remember you as a father who is the only person who could put a smile on my face. As a father who made his presence feel like home. I remember when I was little, I saw this book and somehow I wondered if I was destined to see this book during our difficult times, there was a book called “Thoughts to Share with a Wonderful Father”.....
Love takes many different forms. For some people, it means spending time together - talking, laughing, and working alongside one another. For some, it is a hug or a word of praise. Happy 26th Father’s Day, Iron Man/Leo/Lion
You’re home, family, happiness, life, light and God to us. You will always be the heart, life and head of the family that bring us our life’s happiness…..that will never change with time.
Everyday I’m thinking about you…about how we would usually spend our mornings, afternoons and evenings. It’s difficult everyday not seeing your smile and face because I would always light up as a Christmas tree. Happiness is not possible without you because we really did share a bond that will last a lifetime.
How I remember hearing the smile in your voice when I stated I can never choose a friend, boyfriend, fiancé or husband in front of you because I really adored you. I admired the father you always were to me because you believed your best time spent was with us as a family.
People always state we should live for today and not tomorrow. It’s true that we have to find that peace, love, compassion and understanding in that moment. However, there’s always someone/something that will always be missing in our life. But if a loved one is lost, they’re irreplaceable and not even time can heal that lost of a precious person.

Happy Chinese New Year 2019!!! And Happy Anniversary, Dad!!
There's not a day I don't miss your smile, eyes and laughter/teasing. The best gift a person can give is their love, time and devotion. You've truly become my hero that I always looked up to.
I could remember when I was little and praying to Mother Mary for your recovery.... I promised that I'll never learn to disappoint you and that I just want more time to spend with you. It's strange that I received the same picture of Mother Mary that I prayed to today.
I always teased you and stated that I just have to step outside and you would always follow me. I would always be happy that you were there for me because admit it or not... I could never have choose anyone but you.
All you want in life is for just that one person to be an idol/hero in your eyes and you have become that father for me. It's your time and love that is the best gift for me to always cherish. I will always be grateful for you instead of my life because all of those memories would be incomplete without you.

Merry Christmas, Dad!!! I do believe you’ll always be a miracle in my heart and life for this season. You mould me into the person I am today with my ego, pride and self-esteem.
All of those memories I will always cherish especially the time you said that my daughter always wakes me up at 5:30-6:30 am. I would be so excited just to brush my teeth and run down the stairs to greet you good morning or either open the door for you when you come home.
You will always live in our hearts forever. I could remember many moments especially the time when you pointed to the picture of you and me when I was baby and stated if I will ever frame that picture…it’s hard not to live a day without you because I miss running to you every morning or day just to see your face and smile.
I could remember during my school days……….classmates from psychology club came to me and stated if I ever wanted to go to heaven.
My words was everybody wants to go to heaven and how I would like to go to heaven one day.
I also stated that everyone should become a better version of themselves by always giving than receiving. And then one day anyone can enter heaven.
It’s true that anyone is lucky to live long but age shouldn’t be measured in years. It should be measured in the moments we love and appreciate each other. After all, no one lives forever on earth and we only live eternally in heaven.

To my loving and devoted father, I loved you dearly everyday of my life I prayed for you. You are my smile and the light in my eyes gleaming with pride. I remember holding his left hand and said I can never let go of you -- he was the best influence in my life that I now know why God made him alive for me so that I could remember all of those memories and moments at this age. He was my teacher and guidance on my shoulders that he always taught me what life was with love and principles. That’s why I pray for children to worship their parents as God and to thank their grandparents for giving them a good father and a good mother. I never had a social life with friends and parties because my whole world was my parents that now I can’t have any regrets. My father’s dream for me is to become a doctor that he sacrificed everything with a smile. Ultimately, I’m grateful that I realized me and my parents had a strong family bond and that we always spent every moment and every day together. He will be deeply missed as a husband and a father for his devotion and love to his family and everybody.
I love you Daddy (smiley) and I know that you’re safe with the Blessed Virgin Mother Mary. Please rest in peace as you have my heart and smile.

I am the nephew of John Patricks older brother. I remember I was excited to meet you when my dad said you were coming from Guyana. Another uncle to play with us cousins. I cherished the times we hung out together with my dad during good times. You were there to watch my grandmother while we were upstairs. No matter how many rifts there were with my father.
