Growing up on 17St in the 1960’s, I had lost my mom very young. But God does send a backup and that’s what Stella was to me. She was kind and thoughtful and filled in a few empty voids that I had incurred. Years went by and we crossed paths again in the 90’s at Good Shepherd Church and I reintroduced myself to her. We both smiled, hugged and teared up a bit. Was a marvelous reunion to cross paths after 40 years. I write this saddened to learn of her passing but I have to say she left the earth a very proud woman being married to Jack, another great person, and an unbelievable family. I will always remember her and her kindness towards me. God Bless.
