My grandparents made me believe in true love. I remember back when I was a kid, I always got excited when mommyla and daddylo visited the Philippines. Thats the time when all my family will go on vacation and, have fun. Me and my cousins will stay up all night. I was young when my parents broke up but, that doesn't mean I don't believe in love because everytime i saw my grandparents dance; the way that they smiled and, looked at each other that's when I knew someday I will find someone who will look at me the way daddylo looked at mommyla. I can imagine myself dancing with the person I will love and grow old with. Daddylo always taught me how to dance; I loved seeing him grab my hand he would smile and we would start dancing. He was one of first who believed that I can be someone, he was my biggest fan. He always said that I'm beautiful, talented and, smart; and that someday my life will be better. Daddy lo is one of the main reasons why my life has changed for the better, what he did for me was unparralel. He not only gave me an opportunity to dream but, a chance to be able to chase those dreams and, make them a reality. I want to say thank you for opening my eyes to what love really is . You and mommyla had the most amazing love and, you two have been a great example of what love means. You loved mommyla till the end like no one else could. You even showed your endless love to your grandchildren. you always opened your arms right up for us no matter how old we were. Thank you for teaching me that a home should overflow with happiness, love and laughter, making no room for sadness, anger and tears. Thank you for showing me that it does not matter what someone does, where they live, or where they work, they all deserve the same love, respect and value. Lastly thank you for your service in world war II. Even though I was not ready for you to leave this world, this was Gods special plan and, I am happy for you daddy lo. I am happy that you have had the chance to show me all these wonderful things about life which helped me change. I am happy that you are reunited with your family in heaven. I love you so much, things will never be the same around here but, I promise to stay strong as long as you are with me. God sure blessed me with a guardian angel forever.
