Our hearts and prayers go out to the family.
As teenagers together, we will always remember Joe's ear-to-ear devilish grin.
God bless... Karen and Frank Okola

Big scary guy with a heart of gold. A real teddy bear. I was just a young kid when I would ride with him and Frankie towkar. Was with him in rolling thunder back in my days in Brooklyn. You will be missed brother. Love and prayers to Ena and the family.

I joined Rolling Thunder in 1997. Joe was one of the first members I met. I remember Joe as a tough, strong, no nonsense kind of guy, but had a heart of gold. His presence was intimidating to some, but if you knew him, you had to love him.!We rode our bikes together for several years and I considered him a close friend and a brother Vietnam veteran who believed strongly in Rolling Thunders Mission. Sadly Joe left Rolling Thunder several years ago, but he was alway in my thoughts and heart. He was a true American hero. Rest in piece my brother until we meet again

Loving God, we praise You for being with us at every moment of our lives, from the moment of our conception and birth, through the joys and sorrows, successes and challenges of each and every day, to the moment of our dying. We praise You for the gift of eternal life, and for the assurance that You have given us that we will live forever with You.

ZZ, you will always be remembered. We were the luckiest of people to have known you for 40 years. You were one of the first we ever met in our early hot rod days turning our love of cars into the Brooklyn Knights Car Club. Cars led to bikes and the friendship never faded. You never not had a kiss or hug for me. I will miss no longer waving to you or stopping as I passed by your house, (you were the King of the porch after all!) but I will say a prayer each time I do. I pray that Ena and the family find comfort in knowing that you will watch them from above. God Bless and keep you dear friend. Sleep well.
