I called you tonight at our “usual time”.. as the phone rang it took a few seconds to register that you weren’t going to be picking up ever again.. whether the call was filled w laughter, arguments or cut short... each one meant the world to me.. you taught me to be strong and independent.. to think with my head and not my heart... live life to the fullest... family first.. always go w your gut..and as everyone knows... you were ALWAYS right!!! For 42 years you had my back... and I know you will always continue to be by my side.. I’m sure at some point there will only be one set of footprints..you have carried me through more than you knew.. you are forever in my heart.. Your legacy will live on through us.
