I met Anthony over 30 years ago when I was fortunate enough to join him on a bowling team. Over the decades we also played softball, went fishing, played cards, ate, laughed and cried together. His warmth and seemingly unconditional love for those who were close to him was unwavering. Never one to say no to any request for help, Anthony quietly benefited all those who knew him, if not by his gift of mechanical ingenuity, then by the grace of his assuring presence, positive attitude and ever present smile. I knew Anthony as one of those unusual men who held no malice in his heart and returned all the love he received in an ever greater amount. I am honored and enriched by knowing Anthony and his family, but I am lucky to call him my friend.

My Dear Uncle, I will never forget watching any kind of sports with you, and the color commentary that followed. You always made me feel welcome in your company, and I have many fond memories of holidays and special occasions. You turned me on to Jimi Hendrix and even gave me a shot at playing softball on your team. You will not be forgotten.
Love, cousin Richie

I was kicked out of the cousins photo at my wedding reception in 2010. Anthony had a blast dancing with the ladies. ;)

I remember in September of 2005 he danced at my daughters wedding, he was practically down on the floor. The following week he was going into the hospital to have his knee replaced. Anthony was always lots of fun, and he was always willing to pitch in and help out Tommy whenever Tommy had a question.
My husband Tommy played golf with Anthony regularly for many years.
Tommy is heartbroken.
Sending our love to Dolores and family.

I remember as a little boy during the summer time getting phone calls from Uncle to go fishing on his boat. We would stop at Dunkin Donuts on Gerritsen Avenue and I would get a jelly donut. He was always a blast to be around.
