My dearest cousin Sal, you were taken way too soon. How I fondly remember all of the good times that we shared, along with the sad, but we got through it all. You will be missed. Rest in peace Sal as you smile along side your mom, dad and sister. Will love you always, Vitina

Dear Weegee, Phillip and Lisa There are no words of comfort or consolation that I can offer but want you to know that we are so truly saddened by your loss. Sal was a great guy, always smiling and kidding around and we always enjoyed his musical talents. Mike always liked talking fishing and boats with him. An all around nice guy who was taken far too soon. We will continue to pray for your family, that God will give you strength and peace in your heart. May the countless memories you have bring you comfort as you go forward and know that there are many people who share your grief and sorrow. Please take care of yourselves and stay safe.
Linda and Mike

Dearest Sal we lived together almost all our lives. We were much more than cousins we were practically siblings. None of us could get away with anything without one of our parents finding out about it. I will never forget the countless number of great times we had laughing over everything and anything. We were always a very happy family FUN and LAUGHS was what we were all about. We have always been there for one another during the good times and bad. James remembers all the times on the boat and one particular day when you guys sprung a leak and several coast guard boats showed up but did nothing, James had to bail out while you drove the boat and the whole time you guys were laughing so hard that it took even longer to get back to safety. We remember the great times when you had gigs at the Camalot Inn the dancing, singing and heckling back and forth. The music jams and singing with you and your dad on each holiday. Of course, whenever we had a barbecue especially “steaks and armogua”, I was sure to make extra steaks because I knew that you would always find you way to the house on your bicycle and would always join us for a steak and some laughs and of course the Folgers only coffee. It was during those time that you and my brothers would try to figure out a way to “raise the Titanic”. You will be in our hearts FOREVER and will be missed deeply. Love Always, Maryann, Vincent & James (“The Squeeze”) and our families.

To my dear Uncle SAL… Nothing can replace all of the memories and good times that we shared throughout the years. Whether it’s when we used to go to Nelly Bly amusement park as kids, countless hours on your boat, or numerous trips to the Floridian diner for some coffee and breakfast.
You truly had a heart of gold and will be deeply missed. My heart is broken but I know that you are in a better place now with Grandpa and Grandma. The song Runaround Sue will always make us think of you. You were a hard worker, a talented musician and truly one of a kind. May you Rest In Peace .
Love,
Dominick, Francine, Milania

My dear sweet brother and protector. How lucky I am to have been born into a family with you and Vitina. The memories are monumental. Dad taking us all to Prospect Park in lower Brooklyn. Rolling down the hills, the zoo, throwing stones in the lake (fun times). We cried when you left for the Vietnam War, and rejoiced in your safe return. Your marriage to Weegee and birth of Philip and Lisa started a new generation. Your musical talents brightened our holidays and family gatherings. You tirelessly took care of all things here on earth and now it is time to rest. One thing I know for sure. Love never dies and I will love you forever until I hug and kiss you when we meet again.

Uncle Sal - you were an amazing human being and an even more amazing uncle. The love you had for your family was unconditional and something we all cherished. You brought us so many happy, fun memories - there are too many to even name. Your singing at our wedding, the time spent on your boat, the many holidays and just the simple cups of coffee were always filled with love and laughter. We will miss you terribly. Thank you for who you were and all you did for all us. You will live in our hearts forever!! Love always and forever, Michele, Jack & Kaylie
