Obituary of Judith Garelick

Judith Garelick, 97, of Brooklyn, passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2021.

Judith was teacher at Buffalo and a chemist at time when women were not working in these  fields. She spoke German, recited poetry, loved gardening and holistic medicine, and lived her life her way, by her way. Judith was eccentric as they come but also knew the meaning of family. She took care of all her sisters and brother until the end, making sure they were taken care of. I can only say how lucky people were when she talked to them and the knowledge she gave and how she touched their lives. Judith  was really a great woman that did so much.

Judith will be remembered as a great aunt, friend but more importantly, a great person.

A beautiful life that came to an end,

she died as she lived, everyone’s friend.

In our hearts a memory will always be kept,

of one we loved, and will never forget.
