Obituary of Dolores Connelly

Dolores Connelly, age 78, of Roxbury, entered into eternal rest on Monday, April 12, 2021. Mrs. Connelly was born January 9, 1943 in Brooklyn, New York. She is the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Florence (Butler) Mannarino. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Connelly. Loving mother of Doreen Kelly (Keith), Karen Maldonado (Cesar) and Joanne Donovan (Danny). Cherished grandma of Keith Jr. (Kayla), Ryan, Daniel, Jonathan, Matthew, Kenneth, Emily and Michael. Dear sister of Joan Bier, the late Frank Mannarino and the late Richard Mannarino.

Dolores’ faith was especially important to her. The love for her church and God were prominent in her everyday life. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Dolores. She loved the beach and dancing. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. The apple of her eye were her adored grandchildren who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

Forever In Our Hearts

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May Dolores' soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Reposing Wednesday, April 14 from 3:00 - 5:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn.

Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 15 at St. Genevieve R.C. Church, 6 Beach 178th Street, Rockaway Point, New York.

Burial to follow at St. John's Cemetery, Middle Village.
