Mary J. O'Neill, age 92, of Brooklyn passed away on Sunday, May 9, 2021. Mary J. O'Neill was born January 10, 1929 in Brooklyn, New York. She is the daughter of the late Patrick and the late Anna (Leonard) Sweeney. Beloved wife of the late John Francis O'Neill. Cherished mother of Maureen Loftus, Patricia O'Neill, James O'Neill (Ann), Peggy O'Neill (Kevin), Thomas O'Neill (Lorraine), Mary Haselein (Eddie), Eileen Zanatta (Michael), Anne Simpson (Kenny), the late John O'Neill (Ester) and the late Kevin O'Neill (Frances). Dear sister of Eileen Sweeney, Daniel Sweeney, Peggy Tierney, Eugene Sweeney and Edward Sweeney. Adored grandmother to 21 Grandchildren.

Reposing Sunday May 16, 2021 from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Marine park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road Brooklyn.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30 AM on Monday May 17, 2021 at St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church, 1550 Hendrickson Street Brooklyn, NY 11234.

Committal service will immediately follow to Long Island National Cemetery, 2040 Wellwood Avenue Farmingdale, NY 11735.
