Obituary of Fay Armocida

At 3:45 PM on Sunday May 16th, Fay Armocida passed from our world. Fay was a true lady, and she remained a lady to the end. Fay lived a typical life of love, laughter, tragedy, and pain. What was not typical was her ability to see the best in people and expect the best out of people. Sadly, many saw this as a weakness and used it against her. Nonetheless, she kept her good nature throughout her ninety-five years. Regardless of how many times she was hurt, she refused to steel herself against humanity; and in the end, that made her the strongest of us all. Fay is now gone, and this world will forever be a darker place without her.

Fay joins her husband Frank, and she is survived by her two children, Frank Jr. and Michael, and by her grandson Matthew.

Forever In Our Hearts

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May Fay's soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Reposing Thursday, May 20 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn.

Funeral Mass will be held 9:45 AM on Friday, May 21 at Mary Queen of Heaven R.C. Church, 1395 East 56th Street, Brooklyn.

Entombment to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale.
