Deepest condolences to the entire Larsen family. Feel fortunate to have gotten to know Lorraine during my Lord & Taylor time. She inspired so many, but she deeply impacted me in those challenging moments of closing 5th Avenue. I have a bottle of Chanel on my desk with her name on it, as a reminder of what we work for… even now in my next company. And it’ll stay with me, as well as her impact. She challenged me to be strong, to be the best I could, and to keep going. She was a remarkable woman and I’m forever grateful. Much love to the entire family.

A beautiful person gone to soon . She always had a smile on her face and was such a wonderful friend to my Mom and Dad The Larsen’s were a big part of my childhood especially my teen age years I will never forget the phone calls from her …. I would answer and she say “hi ya honey is your mom home ? “ I can hear her voice now …. She was probably calling to tell my mom about a sale in Lord Taylor ! Lol . Mrs Larsen you will be missed terribly but you are in a better place ! You fought the good fight your suffering is over Rest In Peace

Our precious sister, Lorraine
You are the Angel who walks among us. You give us the boundless inspiration of your kindness and your love. Your smile lit up our world. Your laughter filled it with joy. You have taught us to face every challenge with dignity, courage and determination.
We are so thankful for the gift of abundant memories that you leave to us. Every one of them is gilded by that special charm, that priceless tenderness, that timely humor, or that wise nudge to action that only you could deliver.
We love you, and as you always say, “Love you more.”

When I was a little boy my Aunt Lorraine Larsen gave me a nickname. She called me Vinny Boy. Basically because my dad was Vinny so I was Vinny Boy. I even had ceramic mugs with my name on it that she would make for me. All with Vinny Boy on it. Back then it was all so simple. The name stuck with me the rest of my life with Aunt Lorraine. Even at 50 years old I was still Vinny Boy in her eyes. It was a name that my Eastb 26th Street family called me to this day. If you grew up on East 26th St you knew all about that. Those were the best days of my life. Growing up next to the Larsen’s. The Galati’s. The Israel’s. The Bello’s. My East 26th Street Family.
My Aunt Lorraine was a huge part of my life. Words can not expalin how important she was to me. She helped raise me. She taught me so much. She was my go to person when I needed advice. When I needed help. When I needed someone to talk to. She was a confidant. She always had my side even when she knew I was wrong. When i got in trouble with my mom I would always go to my Aunt Lorraine and she would talk with my mom and convince her what I did wasn't that bad. Even though it probably was lol. She always found the good in me. She always believed in me and taught me to live my life to the fullest. She is definately one of the reasons I am who I am today. Words can't express the pain and sadness that I am feeling and I will miss her terribly but I know she is in a better place right now. My dad was up there welcoming her into heaven with all her family and friends who were waiting for her. If you knew my Aunt Lorraine you know she was the life of the party. Always with a smile on her face. Always the first one to get up and dance. Her favorite song was “Sweet Caroline”. The song should have been "Sweet Lorraine" because it will forever remind me of her. “Good times never felt so good”. That is how I am going to remember her. I will love you and miss you forever. Until I see you again
Love your Vinny Boy.

I met Lorraine years ago when we worked together in advertising. We became friends and I introduced her to her husband Artie who was a friend of my Brother and myself! Lorraine was the most caring and kindest person that you could ever meet. She had a wonderful heart which opened up to everyone around her. Although we didn’t see each other for a long time, we would text each other to catch up. I know that she is now an Angel in heaven. My deepest condolences go out to Artie, the girls and the family. She was a very special person who will be greatly missed! I know that God will take very good care of her in Heaven. My prayers and thoughts go out to all the family at this time. God bless you all!

My husband and I met Lorraine for the first time when we went on a European cruise together. We were a total of 5 couples. This was the first time we met Lorraine and Artie and we fell in love with them instantly. Lorraine made you feel that you knew her all your life. She was fun, interesting, and full of life. From that time on, we all got together for more cruises and dinner get together where we reminisced of our travel adventures. We had so many memories together,
My husband , Pat Guarasci (who passed this past March) and our good friend, Vinnie Cervone are welcoming Lorraine and I am sure they are having their laughs and are remembering their good times together.
Rest In Peace Lorraine,
M
