The Echeandia Family posted a condolence

Our family is saddened to learn of the passing of Bertha Mosconi. My father was deeply affected when I gave him the sad news. Bertha was a very proud woman in a positive way. She was a VERY instrumental part of my sister’s life and had a great impact, as of course she did in her own family’s lives. She brought the perspective to living in the United States of one who was not born here does. That perspective is one of not taking for granted all that this country offers. We can say that Bertha was also an American in the true sense of the word and not unnecessarily apologetic nor seeking only the negatives of the United States. She transmitted that to her children, of course along with her other half Bernard.
The Lord has seen fit now to reunite Bertha with Bernard who awaits for her to arrive shortly. She now takes the journey we all will travel some day and is now accompanied by God to her destination ( not a bad travel companion).
Of course we who remain are naturally saddened and look to reunite with Bertha and all our loved ones………..BUT NOT YET!
Entonces Bertha, Dios te bendiga y también ha su familia que quedan triste con el espacio que dejaste pero nos reunimos pronto con el ayuda de Dios.
And so Bertha, May God bless you as well as your family who remain saddened by the space you’ve left here BUT we WILL reunite sometime in the future with the help of God. It was OUR privilege to have known you and take away the pleasant interactions. As it is said, there is no equivalent in English so as the French say, AU REVOIR, WE WILL SEE YOU AGAIN.
With Love,
Karen & Tom Kolb, Carlos and Andy Echeandia
