To my beloved teacher, Mrs. G... I still remember you like it was yesterday at Fontbonne Hall Academy. You were the most loving, nurturing and sweetest person - none were like you. I will always hold your memory close to my heart ❤️. May you rest in eternal peace forever... if you happen to see my Papa, please send him my love...

Thank you, John Harvey, for your magnificent tribute to our remarkable Aunt Vinnie! And...of course we have to thank our dear Uncle Renzo for marrying her instead of becoming a priest, if all the family stories shared at Grandpa Joe's are true!? Our Uncle Renzo was another incredible person!
Our families were most fortunate to have enjoyed, for so many years, Aunt Vinnie's graciousness, phenomenal talents, generosity, and love. We admired and were inspired by her. The impressive Family Reunion history and recipes she researched will be shared with future generations. Her extensive legacy will be appreciated by many.
One of our favorite sayings when asked how she could accomplish so much was, "Sheer willpower"!
Our Aunt Vinnie was a most extraordinary woman and so loved.
With our sympathy and love to her beautiful family,
The Bettini and Middleton Families

It's hard to put into words, just how much my dear Aunt Vinnie means to me. From my earliest memories I admired everything about her. She had a wealth of knowledge and was extremely generous and caring to myself and my brothers and sisters. My little sister Rosie and I were so excited to spend two weeks in the summer with Aunt Vinnie and Uncle Renzo on several occasions. She wanted to show us culture so we went to the Metropolitan Museum , the Botanical Gardens and Uncle Renzo took us to the beach after she packed us a feast in the cooler. One very treasured memory is the time when she graciously hosted myself and three of my friends over a long weekend in November. Marjorie from France was doing an internship at my company and she wanted to see the city and Aunt Vinnie said come, stay here! We arrived to a wonderful spread of food and the following day Vinnie drove us all to the city (Linda was with us too). Marjorie was a little hard to please but Aunt Vinnie was undeterred. We went shopping, had lunch in Manhattan, walked all over the city and ended the night with a wonderful Rockettes Christmas show.
She was so caring to me and even in her last days in pain, she told me that she was going to continue praying for me. She was caring, generous, unselfish and so very talented. I'm so grateful for the times I spent with her and only wish there had been more. I love her so much and will miss her immensely.. Love you Aunt Vinnie

My beloved Aunt Vinnie will always hold a special place in my heart. I'll never forget her generosity of time and energy to her immediate and extended family members. I'm grateful for when I was in between residences and she and dear Uncle Renzo invited me to stay in their home for a time. It meant the world to me. I'll also cherish the memory of when she and I took a water color art class at the nearby community college. We'd always have a quick meal together and then go to class. Such fun as were visits we made to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens and Museum on a couple occasions. I will sorely miss our exchange of emails and other correspondence that we had over the years. Always offering her time to sew something, craft something, cook something or offer helpful advise to any of us at any time, that was my aunt. Vinnie always trying to put some kind of visit in the works. My one regret is not making more visits happen in recent years. I'm forever grateful for her love, caring and guidance that was eagerly offered. May she now rest in peace. ~ All my love, Linda
