Marie and I have been best friends since we were teenagers. We both belonged to The Good Shepherd Catholic Club Ladies Auxiliary. It was she who invited me to attend a catechesis at St. Edmund's Neo-catechumenate of which she was a founding member. Thanks to her , I am still in the Neo-catechumenate. She was such a good example of faith that my husband Richie and I asked her be the godmother to our youngest son, Danny. We had many good times together and were bridesmaids for each others weddings. I prayed to my husband and asked him to take care of her until we meet again.
