I worked with Connie at Downstate Medical Center & Kings County Hospital. We lived in Bensonhurst as did Connie. We rode the bus together with a few other people that we both knew.

to my dearest connie,
thank you for the countless memories over the years, it has truly been an honor to get to know you. From working on psychotherapeutic interventions to celebrating countless holidays & life milestones together, through it all you continued to smile & it was contagious. One of my favorite memories I will always remember is the look on your face when I returned to menorah as no longer an intern but an employee. I can still feel your pride from that moment. Your kind encouraging words will continue to guide me each & every day. Every time my cellphone glitches I will think of you and the millions of times you called me for assistance. You always saw the best in everyone. I will miss you dearly. Your imprint on this world will never be forgotten.
Love always, your friend
Hayley

As the youngest of the four of us boys, I really cannot remember a time when Connie was not part of the family; so for me it may as well have been five: Joe, Connie, Eddie, Ray & Pat!
By the time Elsie joined the group, it was then eight: Joe, Connie, Eddie, Dolores, Ray, Rose, Pat & Elsie, as Ray’s pictures in another post show.
And then there are the next generations of kids, grandkids & now a great-grandkid too!
We are all fortunate and thankful to have had the love, guidance, and friendship of Connie (& of course big brother Joe) for those many years.
With love and heartfelt sympathy,
Elsie & Pat

My near and dear friend Connie. I am so lucky to have met such an immaculate person such as yourself. Though it may not have been long, the time i was honored to know you was inspirational. You were a true beacon of light and the happiness you shared with me is unforgettable. You’ve left your mark on my life as every person you knew. Im so grateful to have met you at Menorah and to have gotten to know both you and your family. Hearing all the memories about your life and your late great Joe shared together. I can honestly call you family and i am truly sad your gone. You are finally rejoined with Joe and you will truly be missed. I love you Connie. Rest In Peace.

Connie was a wonderful Sister-in-Law to our Family. She gave me so much help with getting ready to become part of the Drago crew many years ago. She would visit quite a lot and spent a lot of time at my house with my family especially summertime when Jeannie spent every summer with us. Her and Joe where always there when needed. She always came up with some funny adventures and laughs. We went fishing with all our kids and the game warden wanted to know where our fishing permits where, you got so nervous and thought we were going to get a fine or get arrested. I can’t say enough about you just that you let everyone know that you had so much love for everyone you knew, and you let them know it every time. I know Connie that you are in God’s hands, and you are at Peace in your new home. I can only say that you are one that will never be forgotten by my family, you left your mark in my heart and prayers will be said for your family and you. Love Ro Drago;

I have so many wonderful memories of Connie. We became friends when her husband Joe was a resident at Menorah. She was such a loving, devoted wife. Connie decided to move in to Menorah on her own. She was a participant in all the programs, especially loving the horticulture program. She would be the first one ready to attend Catholic services when we had them weekly. Connie advocated for other residents being elected by her peers as president of the resident council for over 4 years. She was a grandma to all the young volunteers who provided service to our facility reminding them to be good people and stay in school. I will so miss our many talks about life, books (she was an avid reader), and how she beamed when she talked about her family. RIP my dear Connie. I will always look at that one spot that we labeled "Connie's Place" and see her.
