Obituary of John T. McParland
John McParland passed away on February 17, 2022. Loving Husband to Helene (Ronan) McParland. Cherished Father to Eileen (Joe) and the late Christine. Adored Grandfather to Samantha, Michael and Gabriella. John was a proud member of the NYPD and retired as a Detective in the 6th Precint. John also known as spanky to his friends loved golf, his Bills, Islanders and Mets. Nothing gave him greater joy than to beat his grandchildren at a game of Checkers. Committal service will be private with a celebration of life to be announced at a later time.
