Obituary of Theresa G. Aronne
Theresa G. Aronne passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on March 22, 2022. Terry was 95.
Terry was born in Brooklyn and has lived in the same Quentin Road home for the last 90 years. She was the beloved wife of the late Albert C. Aronne, daughter of the late Angelina and Joseph Apicella. She was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Apicella.
She is survived by her two sisters, Ann Villani and Lucille Cavitolo; her children, Dr Louis Aronne (Jane Aronne) and Adrienne Aronne; grandchildren, Allison Aronne (Ryan Beauchamp), Louis Aronne (Jaye Landow), Claire and Thomas Fishman; and great grandson, James Beauchamp.
Depending on the time of year, you could find Terry playing mahjong seaside at the Silver Gull Beach Club, hosting boisterous dinner parties at Fiorentino’s Restaurant, listening to Frank Sinatra in the kitchen while preparing a delicious feast, or soaking in the sun in Hallandale, Florida. Above all, Terry was happiest when surrounded by family and friends and will be remembered by all that knew her for her warmth, inclusiveness, and wonderful sense of humor.
The visitation for Theresa G. Aronne will be held at Marine Park Funeral Home on Thursday, March 24, 2022, from 3:00 to 8:00 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church on Friday, March 25, 2022, at 10:45 AM. The Committal Service will immediately follow at Moravian Cemetery in Staten Island.
