Obituary of Thomas F. D'Alcamo
Thomas F. D'Alcamo passed away surrounded by his loving family on Monday, April 11, 2022. He was 72 years old. Thomas was the beloved husband of Patricia (nee Price) D'Alcamo. He was the loving father of Thomas F. D'Alcamo, Jr - who Thomas Sr. considered his best friend and work partner. Thomas was the cherished brother of Geraldine Accettulli, Gerard D'Alcamo, Maria (Tony) Pagano, and Joseph (Elizabeth) D'Alcamo; and brother-in-law to Jack (Camille) Price, Jimmy (Mary) Price, Margaret (Frank) Miller, Jeanne (Joe) Atkins, Bill (Marjorie) Price, and Maureen (Rob) Wotczak. Thomas will be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Thomas was the proud owner of Patty's Ice Cream Parlor on Avenue S for 8 years. He always enjoyed having his family around him for a good meal and his favorite part of any meal was dessert. Thomas was an excellent real estate broker for over 20 years, spending his last years leading and mentoring the team at Exit Realty Top Properties. Thomas loved being part of the Exit team, and truly enjoyed everyone he worked with. Thomas was a dedicated Yankee fan.
The visitation for Thomas F. D'Alcamo, Sr. will be held at Marine Park Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM and 7:00 t0 9:00 PM. There will be a Blessing celebrated at Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, April 14, 2022, at 9:45 AM - the family will be meeting at the funeral home by 8:45 AM. The Committal Service will immediately follow the Blessing at Holy Rood Cemetery.
