I believe we came into each other's lives for a reason. You were a mentor, a friend, and above everything else, you became my work mom. The highlight of my teaching career was being able to work on the same team as you. You were the most caring, loving, and giving teacher I had every met. I'm lucky to be just a fraction of the teacher you were. You touched many lives and have forever made an impact on mine. Thank you for always giving me shoulder to cry on, helping me with life beyond school, and taking me under your wing. I love you and I know you'll be watching over and guiding me on the right path in life.

I am so heartbroken over Virginias passing. We were friends in high school and grew even closer in the last 5 years. We were equally obsessed with Halloween and Wonder Woman. I got her a matching blender in 2020 to my wonder woman one lol. I texted her the morning i was told by a fellow Saint Joseph sister that she passed away. I still feel sick and deep sadness- beyond words. I remember in high school you told me that your dream was to grow up, have a home, picket fence, a family—and that was your definition of happiness. I remember like it was yesterday. You got your dream sis- you got your happiness and then some. I start to cry again when I think about all of the great memories old and new. I’m so sorry she is gone- I thought she would beat this. I wanted to share, your heart was so big, your laughter loud, your opinion strong, your raven beauty undeniable, your Puerto Rican pride authentic, your love of wonder woman-wonderful and your loyalty solid as a rock. I learner from you and admired you in high school and in life. As adults are we had deep conversations about everything. I can’t say goodbye it hurts too much. She celebrated everything every win in my life she was so loving and thoughtful and loved that i love pink lol especially in jewelry :) I don’t want yo say good bye all i can do now is pray for tour children and husband whom you adored. Their loss and pain ie beyond words. I have said good bye more times than i care to think about in the last 2 years each time my heart breaks off another piece. V - this is just…painful to the point of numbness from
The disbelief. I love you- i miss you. De pura cepa always sis.

Momma took care of me when I had no family in New York. She loved me and looked after me like I was her own. Her impact on my life will forever stay with me. Love her forever and always. Thankful for her and the family for everything they’ve been for me. Josiah will always love the Vilsaints.
