Obituary of Kenneth Louis Sheridan
Kenneth L. Sheridan, age 73, of Brooklyn, NY passed away on Thursday June 2, 2022. Ken was born on July 9, 1948 and lived his entire life in Brooklyn, New York. He was the beloved son of the late Louis Miller and Lt. Thomas P. Sheridan (FDNY) and the late Mary (nee Cadigan). Ken was married to Alice (nee Wheeler) for 48 wonderful years. He was loved by his daughter Suzanne Rainford (Rupert) and his son Brian Sheridan (Kristen). Grandpere will be missed and forever remembered by his grandchildren Grayson, Ronin, Laila and Peyton. Brother of Thomas and Cousin to many.
Throughout his life Ken worked at Methodist Hospital and as a Revenue Cycle Director in Healthcare for both Ernst and Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers. He also was a long time volunteer at Kings Bay Hockey, where he was the championship coach of the 1997-1998 Sharks and the 1998-1999 Red Wings. Ken attended Good Shepherd Grammar School, class of 1962. He was a graduate of the first class of Nazareth Regional High School 1966 and served as a Board Member.
He loved his family, the Brooklyn Dodgers, Antiques Road Show and wintering in Florida. Ken was a gentle and kind soul who was and always will be loved and remembered.
Wake service will be on Thursday June 9, 2022 from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM and continue on Friday June 10, 2022 from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home. 3024 Quentin Road Brooklyn, NY 11234. 718-339-8900.
Funeral mass will be on Saturday June 11, 2022 at Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church for 9:45 AM. 1950 Batchelder Street Brooklyn, NY 11229.
