Obituary of Josephine M. Welch

Josephine M. Welch, age 87, of Brooklyn, NY passed away on Monday, June 13, 2022. Mrs. Welch was born October 4,1934 in Brooklyn, NY. She is the daughter of the late Saverio and the late Angelina (nee Caiazzo) D'Accordo. 

Mrs. Welch was predeceased by her beloved husband Daniel Francis Welch and cherished son Daniel Joseph Welch.

She is survived by her children Deborah Malafronte (Pasquale) and Donna Witkowski (Marty.)

Forever missed by her grandchildren Anthony Manetta, Danielle Repetti, Jo Anna Antonelle, Krista Witkowski, Martin Witkowski and Anna Josephine Witkowski.

Great grandmother to Daniel Manetta, Alexa Repetti, Kaitlyn Manetta, Gianni Antonelle and Luca Antonelle.

Beloved sister to the late Theresa Claro, Lena Sippel, the late Settimio D’Accordo, Anna Bernie, Deacon Frank D’Accordo, Deacon Armand D’Accordo.

Forever In Our Hearts

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May Josephine’s soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 from 2:00 – 5:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 PM and Thursday, June 16, 2022 from 2:00 – 5:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 PM.

Mass of Christian Burial to take place at Mary Queen of Heaven on Friday, June 17, 2022 at 9:30 AM.

Burial to immediately follow in Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale.
