Obituary of Mario Serenita

Mr. Mario Serenita, age 95, of Brooklyn, NY passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022. Mario was born December 29, 1926 in Brooklyn, NY. He is the son of the late Pietro and the late Filippa (nee DePasquale) Serenita. 

Mario was predeceased by his beloved Catherine (nee Randazzo) Serenita. 

He is survived by his loving daughters Phyllis Kennedy (John,) Donna Camardese (Michael) and Lisa Schatz (Eric.)

Cherished grandfather of Michael (Emily,) Amanda and Matthew; Lauren (Martin,) Matthew (Katie) and Brian (Sheena.)

Great grandfather to Nathan, Sammy, Lila, Donovan, Timothy, Sawyer, Isabella and Riley.

Dear brother to Benjamin, Charlie and Martha. 

Forever In Our Hearts

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May Mario’s soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, Rest in Peace. Amen.

Visitation will be on Sunday, July 10, 2022 from 2:00 - 5:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc.

Mass of Christian burial will be on Monday, July 11, 2022 at 9:45 AM at St. Bernard’s RCC, Brooklyn.

Burial to immediately follow at St. John Cemetery, Middle Village.
