Obituary of Joan Audrey Moran

Joan Audrey Moran, age 98, of Brooklyn, NY passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2022. Joan was born November 11, 1923 in Brooklyn, NY. She is the daughter of the late John J. and the late Evelyn G. (nee McDowell) McGuirl. 

Predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph C. Moran. 

She is survived by her devoted children Kevin J. Moran (Kate,) Brian J. Moran (Elizabeth,) Patricia J. Mirlis (Sam) and Laurette C. Campione (Frank.)

Cherished grandmother of Justin, Erin, Joseph, Hannah and Shaina.

Forever In Our Hearts

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May Joan’s soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 1 from 2:00 – 5:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 AM on Wednesday, November 2 at St. Bernard R.C. Church, 2055 East 69th Street, Brooklyn, NY.

Burial to immediately follow in Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY.
