Nancy was a warrior for all. She was one of the strongest women I have ever met. I will miss her a lot and while we grieve we know she is in a place of peace.

I met Nancy in June of 2014; she hired me at Tribune. She was more than just my boss…I gained a lifelong friend. She challenged me to think differently; to stand up to the bullies and I wouldn’t be the HR professional I am without her guidance. This news breaks my heart. I’ll always cherish the memories we made together..she was there for me during some really tough times in life. To Chris, her children, Jax and Edward, and her entire family and friends…my sincerest condolences on her passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time of grief and transition.

My sincere condolences to all her loved one’s. I will be praying for all. I grew up with Nancy since I was eleven when I moved to the neighborhood. We were close and very good friends. My sincere condolences and prayers to Chris and the family. Nancy ‘Fig’ as we called her was so full life and down for great time. A friendship of over 40 plus years we shared so many great times…the infamous block parties at 462 Beach. Those were the best. I will hold all these in my heart like you. I love you Fig❤️
