Obituary of William Vincent Hanratty

William Vincent Hanratty, age 62, of Weehawken, NJ passed away Sunday, November 6, 2022. William was born July 28, 1960 in Brooklyn, NY. He is the son of the late William Vincent and the late Marjorie Grace (nee Hatcher) Hanratty. 

William received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Iowa State University and continued his education studying computer application programming at New York University. He had earned a swimming scholarship to Long Island University. William was a systems analyst up until he changed his career path, becoming a paralegal.

He loved to travel and workout, and cared deeply for his family and friends.

William will be missed by his partner Dean Stanczyk.

He is survived by his siblings Cathleen Hanratty, Steven Hanratty and Scott Hanratty (Stefanie.)

Cherished uncle of Brendan and Genevieve Hanratty.

Visitation will take place on Monday, November 14, 2022 from 2:00 – 5:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY 11234.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 9:30 AM at St. Thomas Aquinas RCC, 1550 Hendrickson Street, Brooklyn, NY 11234.

Burial to immediately follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island.
