Obituary of Claire Marie McKenna

Claire Marie McKenna, age 91, of Brooklyn, NY passed away Sunday, December 11, 2022 at home, surrounded by her family.  Mrs. McKenna was born March 2, 1931 in Jersey City, NJ. She is the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Josephine (nee Coughlin) Hojer. 

She was predeceased by her husband Owen P. Mckenna, Sr.

Mrs. McKenna was also predeceased by her beloved Daniel J. Weinert.

She was the devoted mother of Owen P. McKenna, Jr. (Colleen,) the late Robert McKenna (the late Margaret,) Timothy McKenna (Laura,) the late Catherine McKenna and Edmund McKenna (Josephine.)

Cherished nana to 18 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Reunited with her dear brother-in-law Reverend Monsignor Vincent F. McKenna.

Forever In Our Hearts

Visitation will be Thursday, December 15 from 4:00 – 7:00 at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, December 16 at 9:45 AM at Good Shepherd R.C. Church, 1950 Batchelder Street, Brooklyn, N.

Burial to immediately follow in Calvary Cemetery, Queens.
