Obituary of Doris Tillander

Doris Tillander, age 92, of Brooklyn, NY passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2022. Mrs. Tillander was born July 1, 1930 to the late Anton and the late Frances (nee Jaksetic) Stemberger. 
 

Doris grew up in Northwest Pennsylvania. Her professional life was spent as a nurse, both in the Army with the rank of Captain and in civilian life at Kings Highway Hospital (now Mount Sinai, Brooklyn).  Doris was an active member of St. Thomas Aquinas church, and was an avid reader and regular member of book clubs.

Doris is survived by her devoted husband Thomas Tillander. 

She will be missed by her children Thomas and John Tillander.

Beloved aunt of Barbara Anderson.

Loved by many friends and family.
