Obituary of John E. McIsaac

John E. McIsaac, “Sonny” age 89, of Brooklyn entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 6, 2023.  John was born October 30, 1933 in Staten Island, New York. He is the son of the late John E. and the late Mary M. (Collins) McIsaac. John served in the US Navy during the Korean war. He was the recipient of the United Nations Service Medal, Korean Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal , China Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth "Betty" (nee Clements) McIsaac. Loving father of Ellen Dejewski and her husband, Tadeus. Beloved brother Ronald, Margaret, Veronica, Marie, Robert, Claire and James. 

 

Forever In Our Hearts

 

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May John’s soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

 

Reposing Friday, February 10 from 2:00-5:00 & 7:00-9:00PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn.

 

Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 AM on Saturday, February 11 at Resurrection RC Church, 2331 Gerritsen Avenue, Brooklyn.

 

Burial to follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale.
