Ansel Gayle, age 96, of Brooklyn entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 21, 2023. Mr. Gayle was born February 7, 1927 in Cuba. He is the son of the late George and the late Irene (Wright) Gayle. Devoted husband of Beryl A. Gayle. Loving father of Freedman Ben Yosh Gayle, Robert Gayle (Judy), Andrew Gayle, Millicent Marriott, Andrea Lowery and Lorna Flamer – Caldera (Kurt). Beloved grandfather of Wayde, Sean, Nicole, Nishmar, Nova, Noaad, Tavel, Marc, Jerrell, Robert, Marysa, Stuart, Gyasi, Thema, Kitt, Kiyro and Bryonna. Dear brother of Rita Mitchell.

Reposing Thursday, March 2 from 4 - 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn.
The funeral will be held 10:00 AM on Friday, March 3 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 2142 New York Avenue, Brooklyn.
Burial to follow at Evergreens Cemetery.
