Obituary of Josh M. Shatesky

Josh M. Shatesky, age 35, of Brooklyn entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 5, 2023. Josh was born November 6, 1987 in Brooklyn, New York. He is the son of John M. and Joan P. (Cousin) Shatesky. Loving brother of John “Turbo” Shatesky, Jr. Beloved friend of many. Josh will be dearly missed by all. 

I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one.
I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.
I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing times

and bright and sunny days.
I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun;
Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May Josh's soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Reposing Thursday, March 9 from 3:00 - 8:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn.

Catholic Prayer Service on Thursday at 5:30 PM. 

Burial will be held on Friday March 10, 2023 at St. John's Cemetery, Middle Village at 12:00 PM.
